The rigorous CAIE board curriculum at Deccan International School gave me a well-rounded education. The school provided a wide range of extracurricular activities to supplement this academic basis. I took part fully in Vibrance, our yearly cultural festival, which gave me the chance to discover and present my skills.
I transferred from England to Deccan International School in Padmanabhanagar, Bangalore, at the start of my 8th grade. Coming from a different academic environment and culture, I expected quite a rough beginning. However, I was fortunate to find teachers who could empathize with me well.
I have studied in Deccan for the past thirteen years from my pre- nursery to my tenth. However, I do not mind redoing those thirteen years because of the precious memories this school has given me. Although I have not studied in any other school before, I still believe that Deccan is one of the best school for holistic development. Sports, academics, extracurriculars, you name it, DIS has it all!
There are many good things about our school that makes it a valuable place for learning and growth. Our school uses creative and modern teaching techniques, such as project-based learning, technology integration and acronyms which make learning more engaging and effective. It also has a strong sense of community where students, teachers, and parents work together can create a nurturing and supportive environment.
